Yellow moong dal/Lentil
1/4 cup

Carrot (chopped finely)
1 cup

Oil
2 tea spoon

Cumin seeds
1/4 tea spoon

Dry coconut (finely chopped)
1/4 cup

Coriander leaves (chopped)
2 table spoon

Green Chilli (chopped)
1/4 tea spoon

Lemon juice
2 table spoon

Ginger (Chopped finely)
1 tea spoon

Salt
to taste

Black pepper powder
1/4 tea spoon

Sugar
1/2 tea spoon

Recipe Credit

  1. Soak moong dal for 4 - 5 hours and strain it.
  2. Take a bowl add lemon juice,sugar,salt,black pepper powder and chopped ginger and mix well. Now dressing is ready.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds to crackle.
  4. Add yellow moong dal/lentil and cook for 2 - 3 mins and turn off the flame.
  5. Take a bowl add carrot,coriander leaves,green chilly,coconut and mix well.
  6. Add yellow moong dal/lentil and dressing and mix well.
