All purpose flour
1 cup

Carom Seeds
1 pinch

Onion seeds
1 pinch

clarified butter
2 table spoon

to taste

Oil (for frying)

Recipe Credit

  1. Take a bowl add all purpose flour,carom seeds,onion seeds,salt,clarified butter and mix well.
  2. Make a crumb like texture.
  3. Knead a stiff dough with the help of little water. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  4. Now roll a small dough just like puri.
  5. Make slits with the help of knife in the middle portion.
  6. Roll the puri and seal the edges to give it karela shape.
  7. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  8. Place the karela namkeen lower the heat and fry till light brown n crispy.
  9. Serve with hot tea.
