All purpose flour
1 cup

Oil
2 table spoon

Salt
to taste

Carom Seeds
1/4 tea spoon

Onion seeds
1/4 tea spoon

Oil (for frying)
enough

For stuffing:-

Boiled potatoes
1 bowl

Cashewnuts
8-10 pieces

Raisins
1 table spoon

Green Chilli (chopped)
1-2 nos

Red chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon

Turmeric powder
1/4 tea spoon

Coriander powder
1/4 tea spoon

Ginger garlic paste
1 tea spoon

Roasted cumin seeds powder
1/2 tea spoon

Cumin seeds
1/4 tea spoon

Black Mustard seeds
1/4 tea spoon

Asafoetida
1/4 tea spoon

Dry mango powder / amchur
1/4 tea spoon

Black pepper powder
1/4 tea spoon

Coriander leaves (chopped)
1 table spoon

  1. Take a bowl add all purpose flour,carom seeds,onion seeds,salt and oil and mix well.
  2. Make a crumb like texture.
  3. Knead a soft dough and keep aside for 15 mins.
  4. Boil potatoes peel and crush them.
  5. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
  6. Add cumin seeds,black mustard seeds and asafoetida to crackle.
  7. Add boiled n crushed potatoes,salt,roasted cumin seeds,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and green chilly and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
  8. Dont mash the potatoes completely just crumble it with hand.
  9. Add amchur powder/dry mango powder,cashew nuts,raisins and coriander leaves and mix well.
  10. Now stuffing is ready. Let it cool.
  11. Now roll a small dough just like small chapati. Cut into two halves.
  12. Apply water to half of cut shape it cones press it stuff the potato filling.
  13. Seal the edges of mini samosa.
  14. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  15. Place the mini samosa lower the heat and fry till light brown and crispy.
  16. Serve hot mini samosa with tea.
