Bhindi (Ladyfinger) Masala is a typical Indian Sabzi and has a very rich taste. It is filled with lot of Calcium.My family members are not so fond of green vegetables so I just worry about the Vitamin A in their bodies. I am very caring person you know :).Bhindi is the only lucky vegetable all my family members like to eat.

Bhindi 200 gram
Onion 2 nos
Lemon juice 2-3 tea spoon
Black Mustard seeds 1/2 tea spoon
chilli powder 2 tea spoon
Curry leaves 6-7 nos
Salt 2 tea spoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 tea spoon
Cumin powder 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder 2 tea spoon
Coriander leaves few
Garam masala 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 tea spoon
Oil 4 tea spoon

Recipe Credit

  1. Finely chop Onion.
  2. Cut Bhindi in either round shape or vertically cut from the middle and make 3 or 4 long pieces.
  3. Take a pan and heat oil on a medium flame.
  4. Add Black Mustard seeds, Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves for Tadka. Add chopped onion.
  5. Saute till it becomes transparent or pinkish.
  6. Add Bhindi pieces in the mix and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add lemon juice.
  7. Saute till it seems to be cooked perfectly.
  8. Add salt,Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Cumin Powder ,Coriander Powder, Garam masala and saute.
  9. Sabzi is ready.
