Crispy Chilli Potato

3 potatoes, peeled & sliced
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp soyabean sauce
onion rings from 2 onions
1 capsicum sliced
7-8 cloves sliced garlic
1 inch ginger sliced
1 green chilli sliced
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Recipe Credit

  1. Keep oil in wok for heating & while it is getting hot add cornflour & salt to potatoes & mix well.
  2. Fry the potatoes in oil till crisp & brown
  3. To a pan add a little oil & heat it on medium heat. add the garlic, saute for a minute. add ginger & green chilies. saute for about 2 minutes
  4. Add the onion rings & capsicum. reduce heat to low. stir & add red chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce & sugar. saute for 4-5 minutes till just about cooked retaining their crunch
  5. Add the potatoes, mix well and put off the heat. Serve as a starter/appetiser or as a side dish to a meal
